General guidance on finding excellent sites:

1. Each search engine will find slightly different material - so don't just try one.

2. Try one search engine, and if it works for you, continue to use it and learn its strengths and weaknesses.

3. Try some of the following search engines which are all simple search engines.

etc. - This is the best place to start

and are metasearch engines - they can perform complex searches; i.e. uses several search engines simultaneourly.

Another metasearch engine that people have found really good is (pity about the name!)
